What Does "Creativity" Really Mean?

Living a creative life extends far beyond the realm of art.

Creativity can refer to original problem-solving, being adaptable, and thinking outside the box.

It involves being brave and taking risks.

Often, for me, it means doing something new I haven’t done before, which can also lead to that delightful feeling of total freedom.

The more “out there” you are with your creative ideas the better chance you’ll have of doing something really original.

You have to give yourself permission to step out of your comfort zone and push your boundaries.

And man, can that be scary!

But have no fear, because with creativity comes an acceptance that there will be lots of mistakes and wrong turns, and those wrong turns can be the PERFECT answer to what you were originally hoping for.

Now, the reason I’m talking about CREATIVITY today is because I am stretching my creative muscle with a brand new adventure I’d love you to join in on.

This coming Sunday, September 10, I’m starting a new series on Instagram Live which I’m calling “Breakfast with Adele.”

So…what is this and why even do it?

It’s going to be Sunday Lives where we can chat and I can introduce you to new things.

What exactly I don’t know yet…I do know it will be an interesting place to learn and have fun.

We’ll talk about art in whatever way you want, we’ll explore creativity in depth, and I’ll do some art projects along the way.

Each time might be a bit different because I crave variety.

Why “breakfast?” Why not?

I’ve spent the last several days unable to sleep because my brain is filled with so many fun ideas I want to try in this new series.

YES, I want to answer your questions…but I also want to create a really fun and unique experience focused on what a creative life can be.
